BIOGRAPHY
Offering 26 years of experience providing specialty therapy services to the hand and upper extremity.
Connie began her medical career in Pittsburgh PA, in 1991 moving to Florida in 1997. She joined Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida in 2009 as a seasoned therapist.
Connie specializes in treatment of arthritis of the hands, nerve, muscle and tendon injuries, as well as post-op fracture care, and upper extremity dysfunction. She also enjoys teaching and sharing her splint designs, lecturing at professional seminars discussing the articles and book chapters on hand therapy topics she has authored for various publications. Injuries vary in degree and complication. As part of her presentations Connie shares her expertise in splint design, which has received a high degree of recognition and numerous awards from her peers. Connie also volunteers her time attending yearly medical mission trips.
A love of Florida’s varied outdoor recreation is a large part of what attracted Connie to Florida. She shares her off time volunteering her services to her community, helping to maintain and enhance the mountain bike trails, camp sites and kayaking waterways Lee County is famous for.
