BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Eichten grew up in Minnesota and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas in 2001 with a degree in Biology. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA and earned the Gold Stethoscope Award for finishing first in his medical school class. Dr. Eichten then completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Ohio University at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH. He went on for an additional year of training, completing a fellowship in adult reconstruction/joint replacement of the hip and knee. This was done at Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida, a leading joint replacement institute in Florida. Dr. Eichten has learned advanced techniques, including minimally invasive joint replacement, ACL sparing total knees, and complex revision surgery. This allows him to provide the best in joint replacement care to his patients.
